Fuck man, it's been a weird few years since we released that last demo. On one of the last nights of mixing our great friend Jesse disappeared at sea. Terrible grief ensued and some of that grief found itself exorcized in the song "The C" that appears on this latest ep, "The Thing That Wears My Skin."

A couple years later, the band went to record a full length album with Larry Crane at Panoramic Studio in Stinson Beach - that's where "The C" on this ep was recorded.

Things went weird there, a parasite Trish had been carrying in her guts caused her to get so dehydrated that she passed out and had a gran mal seizure at 4 in the morning on day 2 of recording. She spent days three through five in the hospital, but managed to hack out some rough vocals on the final couple days of recording.

She went up to Portland to Larry's Jackpot Studio to record the vocals again, and that all went well.

But then in the spring Trish got diagnosed with fucking breast cancer again, so that pretty much put another year crimp in getting this full length record "Gran Mal" released.

Gran Mal is coming soon, this ep holds some fun songs we recorded with Josh Garcia for a benefit CD, along with "The C," which didn't seem to fit anywhere on the full length record.

So, here you go. And if all goes well, knock on wood, we are set to release the full length "Gran Mal" in early 2020.
